Manufacturing-related businesses from all sectors can expect the following level of service from experienced consultants who provide practical advice:

• A fully subsidised review of your company’s needs, resulting in a targeted action plan.
• A range of strategic and reactive interventions tailored to your business needs – available at competitive rates, or subsidised for qualifying organisations.
• Priority access to relevant industry ‘best practice’ visits, seminars and workshops.
Since 2002, MAS North East and NEPA have collectively generated over £50 million of added value for manufacturing in the North-East. To support the Regional Economic Strategy, One North East has combined and extended the Service until 2013 with an investment of over £30 million.
Intervention examples:
• Energy intervention saved a Tyne and Wear brush manufacturer 35% of their energy bill.
• Productivity improvements of almost £1 million at a Northumberland electronics company with 20 employees.
• A chemical Teesside company saved £360K per annum by reducing equipment downtime.
The MAS-NEPA Service covers all manufacturing related business in the North-East of England and is funded by One North East and the European Union. PA Consulting Group was appointed to deliver the MAS-NEPA Service on behalf of One North East from 1st October 2008. The MAS-NEPA Service is based at PA’s offices in Sunderland.
