Aaron Chapman, Design Engineer (Research and Development), Dräeger SafetyIn their industry, the earlier you can detect design and engineering issues in the development process the better. The cost implications are lower at this stage, as opposed to making changes after a prototype has been built and tested. To address this issue they were keen to introduce digital engineering technologies into their production processes.

NEPA Digital Factory delivered training to help their team use low cost 3D visualisation, analysis and interrogation tools, meaning they could create ‘virtual prototypes’ for testing. Working with NEPA has been a valuable experience, as the digital technologies they now employ have improved quality, lead times and reduced costs across their projects.
